Can I have graphics with my audio book?

The audio book is in M4A format. This will allow most eReaders to initially display the book cover, and then a graphic at the introduction of each chapter during playback (musical introductions are optional).

What do I need to sell my audio book online?

The main outcomes are a mastered electronic recording of your publication as an audio book, and a set of audio and graphics files by chapter with opening and closing credits.

Why do an audio book with us?

We feel there has been a large gap in the market when it comes to audio books and we want to encourage more people to consider it. It’s a great way to promote yourself, get international exposure and it won’t break the bank!

Recording usually takes half a day

As a rule of thumb, professionals tend to narrate at 120 to 140 words per minute. If it’s easier to imagine, let’s say 7000 words per hour allowing for breaks, corrections and re-records. A 35k word book/140 page novel will usually take around 5 hours to record.

What about editing?

After recording comes the editing process. This usually takes double the recording time – or if you like – 60 to 70 words per minute.
